Happy New Year!

2012 was a great year! We didn't die horribly (at least not all of us as a species) and that whole thing puts the rest of the year in kind of a rosy, optimistic light. Sure there were struggles, but we've brought it home. America's economy is on the upturn for now, people are getting jobs, we're already halfway through winter, can't complain!

I'm hoping to put up an ask blog at some point, but I'm not sure how much interest there would be in it just yet...hrm. But we'll see!

Even if only like two people read this comic, that's okay! I WILL SOLDIER ON! >:3

Exposition, ahoy!

Hey all! Hope you're enjoying the wind up to the end of the world! Personally, I'm looking forward to the holidays and the nice break it'll allow for. I'm hoping to use it especially to build up my comics buffer if I can, mwahahaha. I realize I've been harping about that for the past few weeks, but...eh... stuff happens. :3

I've started Livestreaming occasionally, but it doesn't really seem worth it to post it on this page, so I might just stick the notifications on my blog or DA....if anyone really feels like watching me try to draw lines six times in rapid succession in an effort to get it the way I want to. Oo But hey, some people are into that sort of thing!

I like today's comic. I feel like this is what would happen if someone with actual super powers showed up in the world. Though one day I'll draw Natane with consistent style, huh?

That Works Too

Hey guys! I almost didn't make it on time with this comic.  I'm trying to build up my buffer so I can work on some other projects, and ended up having to redo the lineart on a couple of them almost completely...but now they're all just happy and ready to color! So I'm pleased.

I really like this comic. It's kind of wordy, though it's been wordy for the past few (And it's going to continue for a few yet) but...y'know. Maybe someday eventually they'll get out of this room, huh?

Jailbreak!

Hey everybody! Can you believe it's December already? I can't. But then again, I really hate the cold, even if I love the holiday season. Of course, this time last year I was living somewhere that didn't have interior heating, so I'm definitely enjoying this winter much more than the last one!

I guess they just don't make jail cells like they used to. I was pretty happy with how the rust on stuff came out! Oh, and those questions you have? Yeah, like the one you just asked yourself in your head. It'll probably get answered. Don't worry bout that.

One more thing before I go - I just want to say that this past Friday was the last day for City of Heroes, the 8 year old superhero-themed MMORPG put out by Paragon Studios and NCSoft. I can honestly say it's the best MMO I ever played, and I enjoyed my time with that game immensely. While many games admittedly do not last that long, and CoH had become dated in some areas, the way the shutdown was handled was completely appalling. When the announcement that the game was shutting down came out at the end of August/beginning of September, not even many of the studio employees had been told - and suddenly they were out of jobs. There were no indicators that CoH was doing less than perfectly; there was new content on the way and even on the beta server, no server merges, a robust community.

Shame on you, NCSoft. RIP City of Heroes.

Stop being a creeper

Hi everybody! I hope you had a fun and safe Thanksgiving holiday if you're living in America, and a fun and safe not-Thanksgiving if you're not.

On a completely un-comic related note, the pumpkin stuff they put in coffee drinks is sooooo good in chai. It tastes like you're drinking pumpkin pie. It's my new favorite thing, I highly recommend it.
